Member to member e-mail is carried out through HideMail and club-to-member e-mail is carried out through BulkMail

HideMail
HideMail is our proprietary mail system that allows members to e-mail each other yet to maintain their own privacy.


To protect the privacy of the Addressee, e-mails are specially formed. They are addressed to gigasports.com, the Addressee is blind copied but the Sender's e-mail address is sent to the Addressee, thereby enabling direct communication between the Sender and the Addressee. This system ensures that members cannot get at the Addressee's e-mail address by sending a copy to themself and it also enables us to follow up on abuse of the system.

Members that no longer wish to receive e-mail from GigaSports.com users, simply remove their e-mail address from the "My Profile" section.

BulkMail
BulkMail is our proprietary mail system that allows club staff to e-mail members.

Clubs can set up Groups of members and send e-mails to a single group. A Group can easily be set up as a membership class or any sub-set of members.

We monitor responses from server and update/delete all bad addresses from the database.
